Hey folks! YEEHAAAWWW! Home sweet home!( at least for a couple of days) It feels great to be rid of those four other guys for a while. I don't know how much longer it was gonna take before i ripped their heads off. Nooo! Just kidding. I'm not the violent type. I would have at least had to have stapled their mouths shut, though. Anyhoo, we have to apologize for not keeping this thing up to date. Let me just say that March was a little rough on us. Between a stolen snare drum, a nasty little cough bouncing between Jared and Darin(which i might add kept us all awake many a night), and several of the venues dropping the ball at the last minute, it's a wonder we haven't driven our van off a cliff. You'll have to excuse me for being a little dramatic; it just breaks my heart! SNIFF! Well, let me see,.....we've had a lot of cool shows and everyone we've met has been just great to us. Despite what i might say about the rest of the band, i really can't wait to get back on the road again. It's the only life for me. Ok! That's all I wanna say for now. Toodles and don't forget to use the sanitary donut tissue paper when you use public restrooms. No one likes a warm seat!

Okay, so Georgia rules... We've played Athens, Marietta & Norcross and all have been cool shows. Everyone has been super cool. Athens is an awesome college town. We definitely will be going there again soon. Dan & the crew at DT's hooked us up, and we made many new friends in Athens. I must say, "What's up" to Stephen, Navid and the crew at the Chi House. We'll see you guys on Monday. Word.

The Gravesite guys (and girlfriends) deserve a big high five as well. You guys went beyond the call with the places to stay, food to eat, showers, etc. Oh yeah, and we can't forget the monetary contribution you guys made. Thanks for everything!

We are playing tonight in Atlanta at The Somber Reptile. Should be cool, if anybody shows up - we've heard bad things about the turnouts there. Appearantly that venue has been blacklisted. Hmmm..... We'll be doing the Swayze's thing again in Marietta, GA tomorrow. We hope to catch up with The Good Life & Rilo Kiley tommorow night after the Swayze's show. They play at the Echo Lounge in Atlanta, so we're gonna hustle to try and catch that show, as well.

By the way, Cursive's "The Ugly Organ"... go out and get it. We happened upon it while in Athens. Incredible. Don't miss out on more Cursive loveliness.

Yeah. So, we just raked and burned the leaves in my parents' yard for food. Can somebody please book some shows? That would be nice.

Davey... you were freaking everybody out, so you got edited... start your own blogger. It was a funny inside joke, but nobody outside the band got it. If you're a good boy, I'll let you back on the team. Sorry.
Hey everyone,

I hope everyone has been keeping up with my stories... Well, our lady in distress (Jared) raised her voice at me, for the stuff I've been writing. No big deal so don't worry about it. So anyway, our show rocked in Longview. Roy, who runs the Texas Blues Bar, is really cool and kept us entertained with stories.

Love,
Davey

P.S. We have been listening to Wayne "the train" Hancock, Hot Water Music, New Kids on the Block (for the inspiration), and The Supremes (for choreography)

Howdy everyone! I write to you from the comfort of our big white van.... now with a trailer!

We're on tour again, and all is well. Our new bass player, Lane, is working out great. It's good to have someone along that enjoys drinking as much as me. I'm also glad to announce that Dave is back in the van! He was unable to come on our last tour due to recently resolved legal problems. He is no longer alowed to enjoy drinking as much as Lane and myself, but nonetheless, he seems to be having a great time right here on our diaries page...

Let's talk shows! We just finished our first swing of the trip through Arkansas. Three cool shows, three cool places... Conway, AR @ Blank Generation (where i fell down), a house show in Springdale, AR, and Little Rock, AR @ Downtown Music. It was nice to see everyone we met last tour. It was also nice to see that they brought more people. More people is always good.

Well Arkansas, I guess we'll see you in March. Thanks!

Bye for now,
Jared

Hey everyone,

We are in Fayetteville, AR hanging with Aaron and D'Vaught. Well, we've had some good shows and some bad shows, as well. But last night's show was really cool. We played a living room and had a pretty good turnout. Thanks to Austin and Olivia and all the kids for going.

Love,
Davey

Sorry for the lack of updates, folks. We've been falling down on the job.

We are in Monroe, Louisiana tonight for our show with Shreveport's AMERICAN TRAGEDY. This should prove to be a killer rock show, indeed. AMERICAN TRAGEDY is big in these parts.

Everything's going great with our new bass player, Lane Pianta. He's filled the position very well.

This one will be short. I've gotta run and pick up everybody from the Monroe mall, and then get us to the show.

More to come...

The tour went well. We are taking a break until January 10th, when we will start playing another 3 months of shows. See you then. Oh, and Happy New Year!
